Unknown engine light

Hey everyone. I bought my BMW used and didn't receive the manual. A light came on in my car and I don't know what it means. It comes and off but the fact that it came on at all freaks me out. I have a 2000 330 CI. The light is next to the words EML. It looks like a rectangular box with a chimney coming out of the top right side. It looks like its filled halfway with liquid. Does anyone know what this light mean?

It means your radiator is low and you need to add distilled water/antifreeze.

you can download the owners manual of the bmw website .. i also didn't get a manual when I bought my 330i but i got the pdf file of the website
