03 BMW 330i brake check light on

hi well i'm having problem with my 330i i keep getting the check brake light signal all the time i have replaced the lamps front, both of them, it had had just the service done too and they check for the wires connectors etc, after a few hours it goes off then on not sure what is the problem can anyone help me out..

Did you check the sockets for corrosion? It is a tricky issue that can affect the connectivity.

yes i have that is the wird part that not only i but the dealer check the plug for anything wrong then i whent out and bought new lamps just in case they installed a bad one but still doing it. thanks for the comment.

I had the same problem, came and went, came and went. Had the dealer take the car several times, the replace bulbs, assemblies, etc. Problem FINALLY went away when I disconnected the assembly and bent the contact receiver to have a tighter fit. It was lose.

Same problem, loose connector. Cost me zero cents to fix but 1-week to identify.

If the "Check Brake" with the shape of "(O)" warning light comes on that has nothing to do with your tail lights. That means you must check your brake pads.
You may need to replace your brake pads, and if the sensor is worn our (i.e. it had contact with the rotors) you will need to replace the sensor as well (roughly 20 bucks).

After you have changed the brake pads and/or the sensor you will need to reset with a BMW tool because it does not reset on its own. Usually, it can be done by removing the fuses responsible for Braking system (it works for me). It does not go away just by flushing the faulty error codes because brake pad senser does not have a memory bank in the main module.
