Just got a 330CI, a 04 have a few questions.

Ok, i love the way my car looks, but i hate those mirors. I want to go to the dealer and buy my self a pair of M3 mirors. Just wondering if the fit would work, if not where do i get the good one's i dont want some cheap stuff, il rather spend the extra buck. And on a an other note, while i wouldn't do it my friend got him self a 323CI a 01, he wants to put a 04 330front bumper and m3 front fenders, but he is crazy he wants to take of his hood and throw on a X5 hood, yes i said X5. Is that nuts or what and will it fit, he is one of those people that buys first than thinks about it. Thanks i hope some of you guys would be able to help me out here. I just got this car about 3 weeks ago and on the M3forum i got nothing but guys bashing me for getting a 330 kind of mean.

I believe M3-style mirrors would fit, it is the wiring that doesn't match up anymore, one is 6-wire, the other 12-wire and ribbon.

As for the fenders and bumper, the sedan bumper will fit but not look right on a coupe (the coupe is wider at the fenders). The fenders will exchange on the coupe.

I can almost guarantee the X5 hood will not fit without some serious modification.

If you use the M3 fenders, you can use the actual M3 bumpers.

As for the mirrors, I haven't seen any that work on the facelifted sedans. You may want to ask on the E46fanatics.com forums.
