Faulty Speakers

[CBP]

Has anyone run into speakers crackling when turned up half way? Also, when fading the speakers from left to right, the right sounds more clear and louder than the left. And, has anyone noticed that the speakers in the coupe sound better than in the sedan?
I have a '04 330I with PP sedan, auto.
