Building a E30 for performance street and occasioal tracking.....Still have the stock 14" rims with new dry performance tires looking for used 15s or 16 inch wheels to put some serious rubber on....I have gone through the rest of the car(driveline, tranny linkage, brakes, timing belt, valves Etc.) and now ready for the suspension mods...I have M3 sway bars to put on and M3 control arm bushings as well as strut braces......So off with the questions......Does anybody know what the stock spring rate is on a 325is? I have heard the best combo is H & R sport springs (lowest I have found $200) and Bilstein shocks( quite expensive).....but I am a 'best bang for the buck kinda a guy' What else is out there that is affordable....??? Tokico makes a spring/shock kit for $350(spring rate F 165 R 265 with HD gas shocks) shipped to my door.....Are they any good or should I just spend the money on H & R and bilstein????
