Hi all, I recenlty purchased a White 330Ci with ZHP package, and it's definelty one of the best handling cars I have ever driven. Has anyone had any issues with the car? I have noticed that my idle get's very rough sometimes, anyone experience this before? Also does anyone know what the best psi tire pressure for the ZHP package is?
Thanks

Love the car.
just the other day was thinking that the Ci has the best of both - ZHP and the LED tail lights.
The latest most attractive upgrades to me.
The only major (TO ME) downfall is the slightly decreased body stifness and longer doors but you can't have everything.
The idle is famous to be slightly erratic with the ZHP - ther a software patch out there at the dealer but that prevents stalling last I read - nothing about making it ultra smooth.
Then again I don't know for sure what is going on since I don;t have a ZHP myself.
Also the 330i is having a more lets say funky idle at times since the engine always tries to adapt.

I don't have the ZHP but I got a '04 330ci w/ sport, prem. and Bixeon last May. Idles were rough. I went to the dealer and they refused to check it. I ended up lying to them saying that the car stalled couple of times. You won't believe it! THEY PUT WRONG F'cking chip in the car, they put a chip for 325 not 330. they had their HQ (New Jersey) ship one and installed it. Since then the car runs very stable. This is my first BMW and i really did not expect it.

As for your tire pressures on the ZHP, if you have the 225's on front and the 255's on rear, the front should be 32# and the rears 38#.
What a great car! 8)

Check with your dealer to see if your car is affected by the ignition coil recall, I hear it can mess with the idle.
The campaign number for the coil recall is: 05E-A01

I have a 2005 330Ci ZHP and have not experienced any idle or stalling issues. I would think again about the color of the car next time. I have the Imola Red, I love the color, but everytime I wash it, I agonize over the small scratches that appear. The 330Ci so far has been outstanding.
