what's up all, I'm new to the board as of today. The site looks great and I'm looking forward to learning a lot here. I bought my 330CI with 19K miles just a few weeks ago, and I absolutely love the car. I'm looking to make a couple careful purchases to help protect her and I was hoping someone could give me some insight on a few things. I'm a big fan of keeping my cars museum clean and bone stock. The only changes I've made are BMW wheel locks, locking chrome tire valves, and a new coat of polish every sunday. I will be installing LoJack in a couple weeks and I'm considering a digitally applied glass tint, and that's all.
One product I've been hearing a lot about is ClearShield. It's a urethane film applied to the nose, bumpers and mirrors to protect from highway stones, insects and general wear & tear. I haven't saeen one yet but I plan on checking out a couple cars with it. Anyone heard of it? Anyone seen it? Maybe some of you have had it? Let me know if I'm wasting my time. peace crew
