I know it goes against everyone's thinking, but I purchased some Hamann HM2's 19 X 8.5 235-35 19's mounted on NITTO NT555. I will post some pics soon.

Why would it go against anyone's thinking?

Congrats William! I don't know if you remember but we met at Bimmerfest and you lent me one of you walkie talkies. Definitely post pics soon. I did a few new mods since BF as well.
Take care- Jess

Marvel,
I know you think that going any bigger than 18's is a waste.

Sorry if I hijacked the thread but... I installed a Strong Strut front tower brace, hardwired my V1 radar detector, installed shadow black front kidney grilles, and installed DDE Phosphyre halos. I really like the 19" BBS RGR's for wheels but can't afford it right now. We'll see.

Now now, I never said over 18" wheels are a waste. I said *I* wouldn't run them because of the ride harshness and the possibility of bending a rim too easily on a pothole or road deformity. My personal opinion should have no effect on your decision to buy 19" or even 20" wheels for your own car!
Like I always say, get what *you* want, not what you think others will like.

Antetr95,
The mods sound good. How difficult was it to do the halos???

MarvelPhx,
Don't get gushy, but I do respect your opinions, you obviously have more experience at this than I do.

William,
It took me 2.5 hrs to do the halos. I came across some wiring problems midway through. Without problems, I could've done it in 2 hours tops. I'm a novice at best getting my hands dirty on cars, but i'm learning a whole lot lately. There is a good feeling when you do the work yourself. But the DDE mod is awesome. It's the best mod I 've done so far. I get so many looks from it and to get that look from 5 and 7 series owners is priceless.

MarvelPhx,
Should I have front end alignment done if I install the new wheels myself or is that just reserved for when you install new suspension parts?? I should be receiving the wheels and tires from Wheel Exchange this Friday.

Umnitza. You can check them out at www.umnitza.com
So when are you installing your HM2's? Where did you order them and if you don't mind how much?
