its almost 3 years now that i have owned my car, i am waiting for the e90 m3 to come out. However this car will have to do till then.
Every time i read about a fellow member supercharging their ride. I feel like taking out the cheque book. Dunno, man the weather is awefully hot here in the UAE around 110F in the summer. i know even you live in a desert area and you had the ESS supercharger (which doesnt even come with an intercooler), your weather is probably simular to the weather we have here in the summer days.
I would like to know if the supercharger ever caused your car to overheat, how many months was it that you had the supercharger on your car (and if those months you had the supercharger were the summer months), lastly was there any cooling solution that you were using on your car.
Currently i am thinking of going with the AA superchager, since it comes with intercooler and oil cooler.
sorry for the long post, but at this moment you are the only person i know of who has experienced using a supercharger on an E46 in the hot desert.
