330xi Wheel Question

Does anyone know what the maximum size wheels are that you can throw on a 2003 xi. They come with 205/17" wheels stock. I am almost positive I can throw 225's in front and 235's in back. Any suggestions? By the way, spacers are no big deal to me.

Brian - The rear should be no different - you should be able to fit even 255 (width) in the rear. I can but I don't have an X.

Now the fronts - 225s should also be good to go. But you do have axles in the front - however I don't think those should make any difference.

Basically I'm inclined to believe 99% that you can fit 225 front and 255 rears on that vehicle.

I think it's a little late to reply this message, but I doubt that you can put different width tires on an all-wheel drive car. I currently have 18" 235s all around, and it looks like there are room for wider tires in the back but 225s would probably fit better in the front.
