Hi guys..My name is Marlon and I have a 2003 330i Individual.I am from South Africa, so lots of this stuff that u guys are talking about we haven't even heard off here!!Can someone explain to me what this ipod gadget does. Does it eleviate the need to buy an MP3 player?

Oh and by the way, do you guys have the Individual option there as well?

The ipod is a very nice MP3 player made by apple computer (http://www.apple.com/ipod/). It is hard-drive based, so it has a lot of capacity (10-30 GB), and was the first to use the smaller 2.5" drives (about the size of a laptop's pcmcia card). I've got one and I am still working on getting it connected & integrated (the hard work is 90% done, I just have to finalize the design and build it).

Nope, we don't have the individual program in the US. I wish we did.

You can get an adapter from www.ihavetohave.it that replaces your cd changer with the ipod and you can then use thead unit/steering wheel controls to operate the ipod.

Once you have 40gig or approx 7500 tracks in your car, then you really wont mind not hqaving the changer :)
