Autowerks is selling the Clubsport Spoiler, it says it's for a 330Ci, anyone know why it wouldn't fit or look right on a Sedan?

Thanks,

Let me know if the link doesn't work:

Sedan and coupe have different front ends, I dont think the bumpers are interchangable... I believe the coupe is actually wider...

Marvelphx,

Thanks for the quick reply, I was aware the front ends were different, but this is a rear spoiler...I guess I should have called it a wing.

no offense, but why would you wnat to do that to your car anyway?

No offense taken, but everyone has different taste in what looks good...I want my car to look different than all the cars with the factory spoiler, or the M3 lip spoiler. This is what I think looks good.

Anyway, I just ordered the spoiler today, when I get it on, and it will likely be a while...I'll post pics.

by the way found a better picture here:

how much does it cost by the way...
and do they paint it for you or do you have to do that yourself later?

You scared me for a second there Topaz, with this picture:

I was looking at the trunk-line and I thought it was a really radical rear end - almost like a corvette.... then I saw it was just the door.

Here's another pic I found:

Should look neat!

David,

Autowerks sells it for $530, it comes primed...but not painted. I ended up ordering through the BMWstore, they charged $10 more, but I figured since I had 'em on the phone, I wouldn't worry about the extra $10, plus this way I know it's OEM.

Have a good one,
Dave

BMWStore is fast, my spoiler arrived yesterday...and although Autowerks finally got back to me and said they thought it wouldn't fit, I held it over my car and I think it fits just fine...plus the autowerks tech that did respond seemed to imply it should be obvious this spoiler wouldn't fit. I'm pleased I didn't give them my business.

Updates after the install.

Sounds great... just please, whatever you do, don't try to install a shift knob from a coupe in a sedan. They are totally different! Isn't it obvious?!
