anyone here have GruppeM intake

I was wondering if anyone here had a GruppeM intake and if you could giuve me your review on it. Do you like it? Is it worth the money? Feel the boost? Thanks it would be a lot of help.

My buddy dished out the money for it on his M3, and *he* says its worth it... personally, its too much money....

I picked on up for my car. Installed it and have been running it for about 4~5 months now. The sound is definately hot... especially at higher RPMs. At low rpms you get a whistle/whinning sound which is characteristic of all intakes.

The performace? You feel a little stronger on the top end. Don't know if that's in my head or actual.

Only thing that sux is that the pipe leading into the stock box is still there and can make for a messy engine bay. I took mine off the other week and it's improved slightly.

If you can afford it then sure. It's by far one of the nicest looking ones out there IMO. If you're just looking to get an intake, they are all about the same.

i got one a couple of months ago,

its a good mod, and the sound you get at the higher rpms is awesome.

should definetly go for it!!
