I've recently bought new shoes for my lady and now I am trying to figure our what pressure to run on the fronts to minimize wear of the outer side of the fronts under hard turning.
(following PSI-s have been recorded when the tires were cold)
225/45 17 are recommended 32psi 4 full load of ppl. on the driverside pillar.
I have 34psi in them and they turn beter but they are slightly bumpyer.
With this pressure though I've noticed some excesive wear from hard turning on the outer side of the fronts. (Alignment is done)
I'm wandering if 36PSI will reduce that type of wear.
Also at 34 PSI I am noticing very slight sidewall bending under vehicle weight of the fronts. I know you (Todd) said if sidewall bend is visible tire is underinflated - is that true for the fronts though or just rears ?
What are your thoughts?
Thanks,
Filip
