Could not find the earlier post on this board. With the larger injectors is the MPG value reported by the computer correct? In not, then I assume it reports a higher MPG than actual?

You are correct it does report higher MPG than the true value. It does not bother me at all. Without SC I averaged about 350 miles on a full tank. Now I average about 320 miles.

On the ESS kit it is 21% off on the high side. They are developing new software to correct this.

Just use the guage and subtract 20-21% like Darius said. So if your reading is 30 mpg, then you are getting 24...

Todd, you do that math quick
ESS has been "working" on that fix for over a year. They told me they would have something last summer.

Does this 20%-21% correction apply to all SC's or just ESS?

The MPG is based on injector "cycles" and is calibrated at the factory for a specific injector class. On the 323, the injector spits out 21% more fuel/cycle than the stock injectors.

So, 330iCanada, it applies to all cars with non-standard fuel injectors (such as included with the ESS kit)

Yes, the gauge simply counts injector cycles...
