Tune up???

I feel my '01 330i is dragging. Have 17k on it. How often does BMW recommend a tune up? if so, would that be covered under the warranty? :shock:

The first real "tune-up" is your inspection at 30,000 miles and is covered under warraty. If it feels abnormal, however, take it in now...

It's the warning light on the dashboard telling me there is a malfunction light.

Yes it's covered.

Yeah, the warning lamp tells you the circuit for that lamp is malfunctioning, proably from a burned-out bulb. The system actually checks all the safety bulb conditions at all times whether the circuit is "cold" or "hot".
