Hey Todd, I recently installed my ESS supercharger but my SES, DSC, and brake light turn on. ESS told me to disconnect the intake air temperature sensor and so far is has not come on. I have verified the extended wire connection and soldered it, but I have no clue. With it disconnected (even tho it is relocated) how does your ECU know how much a/f mixture to give w/o knowing the temperature?
Also, I will be dynoing my car in a couple of weeks. Do you have any dyno results so that I can compare my setup with yours?
Thanks Todd,

All the intake air temperature sensor does is calibrate the AFM (air flow meter) and control the idle valve during cold weather starts, it will still run, just not at peak effeciency.
I would ask ESS about how to fix it.
I keep meaning to go dyno, but I will have to wait until after Bimmerfest.

Todd, Pimp-boy is actually getting 8 PSI boost not 7 PSI. How is that possible?
Could the extra boost trigger the error lights?

Hey Darius, only thing is that the DSC, brake light, and service engine soon light comes on during constant driving with no acceleration around 20mph - 40 mph.
Michael at ESS replied "The temp sensor is not used by our software so simply leave it disconnected. You probably have a fault in the sensor, but there is no need to change it since it's not used."
I guess the only thing I can think of is to re-use my stock sensor as opposed to the new one ESS provided.

When I dyno'd a while back, the boost guage I hooked up for the run measured close to 8psi on my car as well...
I was looking at my pulley and it measures 3.5", a friend of mine has a Vortech with a 3.33" pulley and he makes like 12psi+, so I can see that ours could be close to 8psi.
