I am not sure if in your country you have the European 330 with 231hp. If you do then 10hp is perfectly possible with a Superchips upgrade. If you have a US 330 with 225hp then 16hp is alot harder and might not be possible for Superchips to do. God Bless, Dave.

231 Euro HP = 225 USA HP...
Its DIN vs SAE measurement, same amount of HP...

the super chip cost me dhs 2500 here in the UAE. which is about US$680.
after driving the car for about 2 weeks now. i feel if there is some power increase on the car it certainly is Negligible, the differences i feel in the car are:
1. its more responsive when its in sports mode(my cars an automatic with steptronic)
2. The fuel economy of the car has some what improved, its not a very big difference though (here in the UAE gas is cheap. Hence i always use octane 99 so it does improve my economy marginally)
3. the rev limiter on my car has been increased to 6800. i wonder if this will this help in any way since the maximum power is available at 6000 Rpm?
4. Lastly the speed limiter on my car has been removed. however with todays traffic i havent gotten the chance to find out how fast this baby can really go.

I believe that the Octane is calculated differently also, just like the HP...meaning the 99 octane is like our 93...? not sure though...anyone?

yeah man, i remember having this conversation on another thread a while back. i've always lived here in the NY - CT area, and we've always had 89, 91, and 93 (and sunoco has 94). i can't imagine living in a place that doesn't even have 93. that's all i use. in my car, in my bike, even when i had a remote control gas powered airplane. hah
