Just talked with my brother in law and he now has over 84,000 miles total miles on my old '00 323CiC Steptronic, 68,000 miles since the ESS was installed. No problems to date.
He just loves the car. It sounds quite nice with the UUC TSE muffler.

is that 62000miles since the supercharger install?
if thats the case then ess superchargers really are reliable.

I installed the ESS at 16,000 miles. So there are now 46000 miles since the HP was boosted.
There were many notes that S/C cars wouldn't have the long term reliability, especially cars that had automatic/steptronic transmissions. This car has a Steptronic.

The 323CiC Step now has over 80,000 miles on it with over 64,000 of those running an ESS S/C.
No engine or transmission issues to report ...

Good to hear. Thanks for keeping us posted. One question. I read somewhere that the Vortech supercharger has to be cleaned or rebuilt after 50K miles. Did you hear anything like that? I have around 20-30K on my SC.

I'll contact them and see what they have to say.

Clean the KN airfilter using K&N airfilter cleaning a oil.
Check the belt and the idle pulleys.
Check the rubber grommets for the bypass and smaller hose next to it.
The Vortech needs no maintenance.
