Wheels question for Todd

Todd,

I love your wheels. I am thinking about getting a set. I saw them on sale at circleBMW. They are the Double spoke 71 wheels am I right? How hard is it to clean them? I would think it would be hard to cleat the little spikes around the wheel.

They clean up GREAT and it's a lot easier to clean then than the stock M68s that came with the stock sport package.

However, Circle is pulling your leg, call them and they will tell you they don't have them... Cromadora (the actual manufacturer of the Style 71 BMW wheel) stopped making them in 2000. It will be very difficult to find the wheels anymore...

Especially the 18x8.5 rear wheels...

S71 style rims are certainly hot. But just let you know that they can be quite heavy...and hard to sell.

Why are they hard to sell?? Are they heavier than the stock rims?
