After reviewing a billion posts on several boards, I'm still confused about whether the E46 alarm can be activated in advance (when the other programming is done). Some have noted that just activating the clown nose isn't good enough; that they had to have MoDic programming done after the motion & tilt sensors were installed. But does anyone know for sure whether or not it is possible to do ALL this programming in advance of actually installing the alarm?
