A friend of mine ruined the lighter unit in the console of my 5 series by forcing his cell phone adapter into it. Now the entire unit is messed up to the point where the lighter doesn't work, it won't flip up and down automatically, and I can't even close the ashtray.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks a lot. I think if I could remove the unit I'd be able to figure it out, but while it's in there I can't really see what's happened to it.
