Does anyone have numbers for the stock 330i clutch clamping force?? I can see a clutch in my future after installing the ESS SC and want a better clutch. Sachs, Xi, X5, ?? Any ideas?? Thanks

Sachs carries a better clutch pressure plate. It is clamp-rated to like 340hp I believe using the stock disc...
So how has your clutch held up? I have a UUC lightweight flywheel in transit, and would like to install a heavy duty clutch at the same time if it makes sense.

My clutch is OK, but I want to upgrade as well.
I'm probably going to go with a Stage II Clutchmaster clutch -- based on Sachs clutch -- from bimmerworld.com,. Stage II has a Carbon-Kevlar friction surface and 70% more clamping capacity.
Cost: about $850.

By the way, how many bolts did your UUC flywheel come with? Mine came with six bolts and washers.
FYI, the flywheel is made by Fidanza. I did a search on "bmw 195461" on google and got some interesting results. "195461" was hand-written on the side of the box and the logo was utility knifed off. Not a big deal; it was just interesting how easy it is to find this stuff out.
