View Full Version : UUC Springs & Sways - Problem

I'm having a few issues and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the UUC lowering springs, sways, and exhaust. They were all installed at about the same time. At first the exhaust was rattling something fierce and they finally fixed that yesterday. I'm not sure about what they fixed but the rattle went away - it was a distinct rattle at low speeds on rough roads and on any kind of high speed bump.

There is now a noise coming from the undercarriage that sounds like a clunk - it only does it in certain situations, like off-camber bumps in the road - but not always. I don't know if it is coming from the exhaust or suspension.

Additionally, there is an occassional squeak that sounds like its coming from the front end - I assume this has something to do with the springs/sways, what should I do to get rid of it?

Finally, when cornering, the car feels like there is a repetitive pull as the car turns - like the car is being yanked tighter into the turn every 20 ft. or so. Let me emphasize that this only happens on long sweeping curves where I am traveling at anywhere from 50-80mph and it is not very noticeable. It doesn't happen/isn't noticeable at slower speeds, but this didn't happen with the old suspension.

For those of you who read this long post any help would be great.

Did you get an alignment when all was done?

Yes, they called UUC and did a custom alignment. That doesn't seem to be the problem. They rebalanced the tires as well. Thanks for the guess!
