UUC Exhaust

Hi guys, my TSE is on its way to my house ^^ Before I start the installation myself I just wonder if I can keep my stock exhaust and weld it back on in the future? I understand that I need to cut the pipe cuz TSE does not have the second resonator right. Can't wait to be part of performance crew in NJ.

Yea, you can keep the stock exhaust. I had the UUC TSE on my 330i and I recently took it off (i'm selling the car) and I welded the stock exhaust back on. Everything is fine...I didnt run into any problems.

Oh, my UUC TSE is for sale now too!

I forgot about my stock exhaust at the shop and then they moved. So much for putting it back on! /forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Guess when the car finds a new owner, it will come with the TSE!

What shop did you have install your exhaust?

I did it myself in my dealership's service department, but I left the stock exhaust in a storage closet to come get later with my truck. I forgot about it and I ended up leaving the company. Then they moved. I am sure it is long gone...

hey I put on the new silencers that came out in 2003. They are awesome. love them! Only problem is that they are vibrating a little against one of the braces underneath the car. haven't figured out how to get rid of the noise yet.


Any thoughts?

Also got them at the preproduction price. problem was that i had to wait six months to get them and calling 3 times. UUC must be doing great business and sell a good product if they can blow me off for 6 months and i still waited for the delivery without bailing.
