Marvel, alarm activation?

Marvel:Thanks for the great install instructions. Made it easy this last weekend when I installed my OEM alarm. The system is not active so I know I can take it to the dealer to have it activated. What I want to know is this: I picked up my 330i on 9/10 and I have not had the complimentary key code activation done yet. On the form for the key memory options there is a choice of having the alarm (chirp)audible upon locking the car with the remote entry. If I have this done will this activate my alarm? Or is it a separate task that must be done and how much does the dealer charge for this?

If you haven't had the key activation set up yet, they can do your alarm at the same time, they better not charge you for it. It is maybe 2 extra steps on the MoDiC...

Sweet. I just installed mine thanks to your great instructions and I get my key activated on Monday as well. I sure hope they don't charge me. I doubt if they will. That would be pretty cruel.

DId they give you a list of things that you could have the computer do? I don't have one. I guess they will give me one when I drop the car off to get worked on.
