My previous experience with Eibach Prokit + Factory struts on my 2000 Accord Cpe (turbo charged) was mixture of good & bad. The ride quality was absolutely improved as the Eibachs had promised, however, after 5000miles I start hearing weird noises from the rear suspension. I talked with several local shops and tried many ways to solve the problem~ (new bushings and new tockico shocks) but none of them have solved the problem. The technian then told me this noise is from the springs colliding with the upper mounts. He said due to my trunk was added with extra heavy weights (sound system + custom spoiler) the rear suspension was having the strong collision noise.

Now~ I have the 330I and I want to drop the car sooooo bad(look!). But I seriously don't want to have such problem again. Could anyone tell me what can I do??

PS: I don't have $1500 for Biltein PSS9 =[

i have h&r race springs, rd sways, and stock sport shocks. i have had no problems and i track my car frequently. that said i have heard that in general the stock sport springs are too short for race springs and will wear sooner as a result. i have had my set up for about 1.5 years. maybe i am just lucky.
