A new FORUM feature... (xpost)

It has always bugged me that we can't share what kinds of BMWs (or other vehicles) that we all drive, sooooo...

I hacked the forum code and now...

If you Login (http://www.my330i.com/forums/login.php) and then select Edit Profile (http://www.my330i.com/forums/bb_profile.php?mode=edit), you can now input the type of ride you have!

It will display under your name in all of your posts... <-- Like mine...

If you are not registered (http://www.my330i.com/forums/bb_register.php?mode=agreement), now is a good time!

Marvel, I know your site is for 330i, but what about us guys who bought 328 because 330 was not available at the time. I think there is few of us here with 328. Maybe you could add these models to the profile preferences. Or do I have to go trade my car in now for the new 330?? /forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif By the way is there a big difference between those two models?

I currently have a 99 328i and am negotiating on a new 330CI. The main difference I noticed is power. We're talking around 30 hp difference. The engine sounds a little different as well, a deeper sound. Other than that there are subtle cosmetic differences. You should go test drive one if you get a chance.

Marvel never mind the previous comment, looks like it works now. When I go to edit profile I can change my ride. Before there was 2001 330i stuck there and I could not change it.

Darius, just to make you feel better, I have a 1999 328i E46. Yes I would love to have a 330i, but I can't now. I beleive everything in its time. But when I do get the 330i or maybe then it'll be a 335i, i know i am going to love it like i love my 328i. I hope the switch works out for you. They're both beautiful cars. Cheers
