I am thinking of replacing my stock wheels on my 2000 328i sedan with the 18X8.5 type III AC SCHNITZER wheels. Does anyone have experience with these wheels? What is the difference "other than the looks" between type II and type III. Or how about the racing version are they worth it $1100 a piece? Can I fit this size without any mods or do I need spacers? Or what other wheels looks great on my model BMW? P.S. Marvel thanks for the great site! What is taking so long with your SC? Will they ship it this year?

That's great. I bet you can't wait. I wanted to order one too, but I will just wait and see your results. I hope you will post detailed DIY since I would be installing it my self. Paul (Pkoenig) told me that when I order it they will charge my card right away and it will take forever to deliver. Why does it take so long?

No idea... And, of course, I will bring a very detailed DIY to the website...

Marvel are you gonna sell your star-like BMW rims? If so, for how much? I'll come back to you when you got your new rims. OHHH...shhhhhh...

So, did you put those wheels on?
I have also a couple of questions in general:
- could anyone explain me what are benefits/trade-offs between 1-piece AC wheels and 2-piece (do they have also 3-piece). the price differences are signifficant, but i have no idea what are benefits, etc.
- is there such thing as hardness of rims? i bent my wheels again and if spend money, then at least want to protect an investment..
thanks in advance,
anton
