Has anyone ever installed an undercar kit (Neonlights under the car) on a 330i?

If you have, what packages does your car have? There seems to not have enough space under my car. There is some type of plastic covering the bottom of my car. Does yours?

Looks ok. Just make sure you're not driving with them on. I'm 99.999% their illegal.

I know they're illegal in New Jersey, but I want to put these on so badly. I can't really because there some type of flat thing covering the bottom of my car. My 330i has no sport, so I was wondering if the sport 330i had it. I'm afraid the lights will break of I go up a driveway or something, but I know the blue undercar kit will look great on my black 330i. The kit does come with a switch so i can turn it off anytime I want. There is room for them on the front and the back, but the sides are kinda low. I was thinking on buying side skirts for my car and maybe they will kinda protect the lights or raise my car an inch or so but I like a low rider. I don't know. Tell me what you think.

i read sumwhere a guy bought like angel iron from home depot. and painted it body color, and screwed it on to the bottom of the car so you cant see the light fixtures.
you could tell everybody that you have airbags and those are skidplates???? haha

Will that protect it though??
I want to know how to install them without needing to fear about them breaking over a curb. Anyone knows some ways to protect them. I so far thought of sideskirts or raising the car an inch.

I also have a question about them being legal. I heard that they are illegal when driving but legal when parked, in NJ at least. I also heard that if you drive with them, you can (not always) get away with any colors besides red and blue, because they are "emergency" colors. Like sirens on cop cars and ambulences. Tell me what you know about any laws about them...and mention where you're from. Thanx

And the thing under the car that I was talking about.....can you take that off?? so I can fit those lights inside under the car. And if I can....what would be some bad reasons to take it off.

Nevermind...
I went to my local BMW dealer to ask some questions. By the way..I saw some SWEET new bimmers. Like the new 7 and some Ms. But I asked about the plastic thing under my car. He said that all it does is stop the oil from leaking onto the floor if your car does have an oil leak. I told him about the undercar kit that I have and how should I install it. He said to just take it off.
Any of you mecanics out there know how to take it off? or do you think it would be more safer if I get some garage to do it. They guy said that it was simple. Just take off 5 screws. I looked under my car, and it was complicated. What should I do?
