Does anyone have any advice for me of what to use on my leatherette interior. I don't like the high-gloss look of armor-all and similar products.

I don't know of any kind that won't give it a high-gloss look. But I'm currently looking for the MacGuire's leather wipes; at least your leather will be protected. Don't use anykind of Armour-All stuffs, they have these compund that will dry out your leather after a while. Ditto for the tire spray.

What, you don't like sliding around??!!
A while ago, my parents got a nice used 325 (non-i, it was carbeurated. That thing moved compared to my current fuel-injected 325i!). The previous owner, uh, took great care of it and religiously armor-alled the (non-leather) seats. I sat down in the passenger seat and started to slip. Of course, I instictivly grabbed for the dashboard, but he previous owner was one step ahead of me-- that was way too slippery, too!!

Lexol is great, after a couple applications your seats will feel like real leather, it softens and takes the gloss away. It takes a little ass time to remove gloss, but the seats will be better for it.
