Fire Extinguisher Install

Hi Marvel, Fantastic Site. I'm looking to do some Club Track Events over here in Oz. One of the requirements is to have a fire extinguisher installed inside the cabin. Have you or anyone else put one in? I'm thinking of mounting it (a 1kg extinguisher) at the front of the drivers seat. Any other ideas or experiences?

Actually, there is a fire extinguisher I have seen mounted in that location. I want to say Clem from E46fanatics.com can get your hands on one. Maybe try asking on their forums?

Thanks Marvel. I fitted the extingusher. There are 2 holes already under the seat, towards the front same as the passenger seat (for first aid kit). I tapped them with an M6 tap and just bolted the retaining bracket straight in. You can't even see the extinguisher - but it's there if you need it.
