The air ducts I installed in my M-Sport front bumper are factory BMW parts from the 320d model E46:
51 11 7 890 095
51 11 7 890 096
They were about $13 each at my local BMW dealership and I had them painted at my body shop.
The old covers simply pop out and the new ones snap right in. The snap catch is on the inboard edge. I used a flathead screwdriver to accomplish the exchange.
For all forced induction/CAI users, the ducts direct intake air directly into the space behind the bumper where most CAI's feed their filters.
I plan on using the other side's duct for a possible aftercooler for my supercharger.
A simple, inexpensive, effective modification I recommend.
