When I opened this website, and for the first 5 months, I averaged about 45MB/day in transfer rate. Keep in mind that this hosting account supports 2 other sites as well.
Since posting the BMW meet video, I have averaged about 440MB/day. Yes, this is partly my fault since the video is over 30MB. My hosting plan allows me 400MB/day and has been charging me for overuse charges.
Now, in the last week or two, I am up to 570-580MB/day. In a compromise for my visitors, I have implemented two options:
1. I have upgraded my hosting plan to 600MB/day transfer with increased cost.
2. I have written a download script for the videos. It will allow the videos to be downloaded until a preset maximium daily bandwidth limit is reached. At that point, it will not allow downloads again the next calendar day. It also disables linking to the videos from outside the my330i.com website (such as external forums, webpages, etc).
