Has anyone had any experience with The Wheel Exchange (http://www.thewheelexchange.com)? They sell replica BMW wheels for about 1/3 the cost you would normally pay for original BMW Wheels. Their prices are really good, I'm just wondering if their product is.

You know why they're so cheap? Cheaper material, and they're not put together as well. Personally I don't trust anything that says replica. Would you get a BMW replica? (not that they make any, just trying to make a point)

True they probably are made with cheaper material but they are both 1 peice forged rim. My freind has a set of replica m3 rims on his 325i and they look really nice. He has had them for about 6 months and no problems yet. I personaaly like the replicas they look nice and are way cheaper than the BMW rim.

I have a black 330i step. And its still stock, once I get my tax return im going to get some 18" rims, H&R springs or BAS with Koni sport shocks, and upgrade my ecu, maybe BAS or authority.

I'm looking at those guys too... have heard nothing but good things, although torn between the M3 replicas or the Z8 replicas

If you decide to buy from The Wheel Exchange, don't pay the price they have listed, you can haggle with them a little.

I did some research and found this company trying to sell a set of four of the BMW M68 style wheels for only $700. That works out to be $175 each. They have this style wheel listed on their web site for $194. I ended up talking them down to $165 each!

Be sure to haggle a little and get yourself a good deal! Good luck!

how did you manage that?do you remember who the sales guy was or what angle he had to get the price down to that?

I think it's a pretty small company. Ask for John Feore, he is the president of the company and I think the only sales person.

You can contact him via email at thewheelexchange@earthlink.net .
