What size tires, and brand would you guys recommend to put a 18 inch wheel. Will 255 rub on the back? The M3 has that on the rear.So it should be the same right?Anyone have 18's on thier car that could help out?

For the size, I suggest you should get 225's in the front and 255's in the back because that's what the M3 has. My friend has 19" AC's on his car with 265's in the back and he had to roll out his fenders. If you don't want to affect the resale value of your car (like if anyone's going to sell their 330!), go with the 255's. You will have to change your camber settings so your tires won't rub, but you won't have to roll your fenders out.
As for tire brands I'd go with Pirelli P7000's or Dunlop D9000's. Both very good tires with high speed ratings.

what exactly is a fender roll out?sorry I am not up to speed on this.
So I should stay with 225/40/18 in front and go with 255/45/18 rear?

I don't really know how mechanics do it, but rolling out your fenders causes two things:
1) A nice wheel arch
and
2) More room for wider tires

Yeah, definately go with 225 front and 255 rear, especially with the M3 wheels.

Thanks for the info. I will give it a shot.

Have you tried any air induction systems at all?I just stuck a K&N filter in.The gas milage is so much better, and when it gets cold here in florida, (all 2 days of it), the car drives so nice.I can feel a slight HP gain but not much. Its a little bit louder than normal when you stomp the gas.

I put the M3 wheels on and they have a different offset and they didnt fit right in the back. The front were fine, but the back was way off.So I called My local dealer and they told me that the M3 back wheel is simply that, for M3's only.So back to the drawing board.

I have 18x8s, 225/40-18s all around no rubbing.

I am trying really hard to find a set of Style 71s in 18x8.5 for the rears. Then I can go 255/35-18 in the back.

My car is lowered and I will have no issues with these size tires/wheels.

Sorry to hear that. The M3 wheels may be made for the M3 but you can certainly put them on the 3-series. I hate the dealerships, they make people feel so stupid. Anyway, I suggest you roll out your fenders. Body shops should do just fine, but make sure you trust them, it's hard to find good garages that won't rip you off. If you live in So-Cal I suggest F1-motorsports or Pride Auto Body Shop.

After rolling out your fenders, I suggest you get all of the technical stuff straight. Like your offset, camber settings, and wheel alignment or else they'll give you trouble in the future.

Now this is gonna be NICE! S-03s tires are already shipped. I should have them installed by Tuesday.

With lowering, I believe up to 235s front and 255s rear will fit without rolling.

I think 235 is a bit thin for a 8.5, yes?
