I have a 330i w/ the sport package and whenever I drive on a bumpy road (paved) the car is fairly noisy, even when driving at 5-10mph. I'm not sure if this has to do with the suspension, but has anyone else experienced this or know what's the deal? Sorry for the vague description!!!

What kind of noise are we talking about? Vibration, humming, clunking, occasional?

Definitely clunking everytime my car goes over bumps and imperfections in the road. Do you know what's going on?

It sounds like some kind of suspension noise. Is your car stock?

I have heard of a control arm issue where the bushings cause a clunking noise in the front end. Your BMW dealer should know about them if that may be it.

Sounds like a suspension problem from bad installation or wrong springs. Your springs might be dancing around and not fitting well with your shocks ( perhaps you have lower springs on?) Check if your uppermounts are locked well too

I seem to have a similiar sound coming from the passenger rear when going over slightly bumpy roads. Started with only a few thousand miles on the car. When I bring in the car for the first time I am going to have them look at it. My clutch also seems to be slipping.

chris, i think i've picked up something similar. i'll have to remove everything from the trunk, make sure the seatbelts are locked down and then go over some rougher roads or even manhole covers...it almost sounds like the upper mount is a bit loose on the rear driver's side for me.

I've noticed a noise as well. It's a chirping/squeaking noise coming from the left rear suspension or brakes. Any idea what it might be??

I've had that(squeeky/crunchy noise) on my '00 323i. It happened at lower speeds.
It was the emergency brake.
And the dealer fixed it.

dealer tightened brake line and noise went away!! thanks for the info guys!!
