2002 330 w/sport vs. Audi S4

your asking the wrong set of people for an unbiased decision...but honestly i dont like the new style of the front or back on the 2002 330i...me personally...i have the 2001 and im glad i didnt get the slant lights like that

i suggest that you go for the bimmer because the 2002 s4 will not have the same look as the new a4, it's the same car compare to the previous s4s.

Actually, I was told by an Audi dealer that the S4 will not be made in 2002-2003. (you would have to buy a leftover 2001 having the already outdated body style ... i.e., your car would look like an old A4).

the S4 will be continued in 2002 as the "old body style" there is no word for the new body style S4 yet. Personally if it were between the two I would go with the following:

Performance: S4.
Styling: - 330ci

I had the same two choices.

But I bought the 330i (it´s arriving the 18th of October) from Germany with the M Sports Package and in IMOLA RED.

To make my decision I thought: "If I would be driving the S4, would I be jealous of the 330i owner if he pulled next to me in a red light?" HELL YEAH!

So, fuck the S4!

The S4 is quicker off the line and in a 0-60 test, but...I would go for BMW. I owned an Audi about 20 years ago (yeah, they're a different Company today I suppose, or rather I HOPE!) and had NOTHING but problems beginning at 35,000 miles...by 60,000 the car was undriveable. I did test drive an Audi, and it was my second choice, but lost due to bad craftsmanship from the last one...never again!

The 330i you bought, is it 2001 or 2002 model? because I got one in July and regreted it, I could've wait for couple months and get a redesigned one.

It´s a 2002 model.

Also, the Imola Red is an ///M color, but I was able to get it since I got my car with the ///M package from Europe. It´s a special order. I´ve been waiting for it for months now.

Is $44,600 msrp or all of door price which includes tax and license? I got my 330i in July and I have all the options you got except the 6disc cd changer and my msrp is $41000 and $42500 out of door. To be honest I regreted it I should've waited for couple more months and get the 2002 model but that's my decision and I have to stick to it.

I have ALL the options there are on the 330i, some are:

6CD changer
Parking sensor
Rain sensors
Xenon
Sports ///M type II package
M wheels
Michellin tires
Harman Kardon

The car arrives in Panama today! I´ll get it tuesday or wednesday.

Dealer is doing $1,400 off MSRP, good deal?

The dealer said bmw isn't doing special orders right now, so I can't get imola red, even if they did it would run $1500-1700 extra. So I'm going with silver or steel blue.

my 330i sport came with everything except navigation sys. and winter package and it's msrp was $41300 and I paid $42500 out da door.and i still think i could chop off a little bit base on that.

f the S4 and the sport sedan wannabes..the 330 is the 330..it's a bmw...the S4 is nice though, it is german...but it's bmw for life!

I live in Canada and they had a 2003 Imola Red 330i with an M sport package. The car seriously looked amazing in the showroom. As a matter of fact im currently debating on whether to get an Imola Red 330i or a Jet Black one.
The car was fully loaded except for parking sensors and the dealer was able to give it to me for $41,666 taxes in

i'm biased towards the bmw. but i'd have to think long and hard about the s4. i like skiing and it rains 60% of the time here. so the awd is pretty enticing...not to mention the 250hp which is easily bumped to close to 300hp

i had the same choice but took the 330i because for one its BMW (better looking/sounding and has MUCH better reputation), plus i had the chance to jump on one with the m sport and the leguna seca blue (only one in my city) which is normally only on the M series...because i bought a demo moddle...Plus everytime i see a BMW drive by i have to look and every time i see an audi i think of a VW and dobnt even look twice...oh yea....chicks dig a BMW more then an audi
